Welcome!
This website collects and provides information on the Office of
Special Education Programs’ (OSEP) Personnel Development Program.
This program funds selected institutions of higher education to support
scholars receiving training to provide special education and
related services to children and youth with disabilities.
The Scholar Data Report (SDR) is a web-based data collection
designed to capture annual, scholar-level data on the scholars
trained in the program.
This approach provides a good picture of how program funds
are used, the paths scholars take during their training, and scholar outcomes associated with these factors. OSEP uses these data to assess the effectiveness of the program and to meet the reporting requirements of the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA).
Westat is under contract with OSEP to design and manage this web-based data collection system. Please contact Westat directly at serviceobligation@ed.gov for any questions or comments concerning this data collection.
The OSEP Personnel Development Program, Scholar Data Report has been funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs, under contract ED-OSE-12-C-0064, Dr. Bonnie D. Jones, Contracting Officer Representative.
